Yvonne Hunt

Founder of HL Rural and Rural Planning Consultant

Yvonne has 23 years experience working for clients in the rural planning sector and uses a wealth of knowledge gained over the years to provide rural planning advice to farmers, landowners, rural business owners and equestrians. She has a proven track record in assisting clients to assess site suitability for their chosen development and advising on the correct routes to gaining planning permission in rural areas of Cornwall, Devon Somerset and Dorset.

She started her career as a rural land agent in estate management working on estates in Cornwall for a national firm. As her career progressed, she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in rural planning and development working with clients throughout the South West.

Yvonne is a member of the Town and Country Planning Association and is also a qualified Property Arbitrator.

Robert Lees

Founder of HL Rural and Rural Planning Consultant

Robert brings a knowledge of farming and rural businesses from 26 years of working in the agricultural industry. He started his working life by studying agriculture at Duchy College and then became a partner in the family contracting business working for farmers in South Cornwall for over 20 years.

At HL Rural Robert has assisted farmers and rural property owners with agricultural schemes and grants such as Sustainable Farming Incentive, Countryside Stewardship and Farming Equipment and Technology Fund. He also prepares planning applications and assists rural clients through the planning process.   

Robert is a member of the Town and Country Planning Association.
